The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring Enviromena’s technology environment is robust, secure and equipped to support our fast-paced operational growth. In this position, you’ll oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure, from day-to-day support to long-term digital strategy, making sure our UK team has the systems and tools they need to perform at their best.
As Enviromena continues to expand its footprint across renewable energy projects, this role becomes even more critical. You’ll help maintain reliable systems, strengthen cybersecurity and enable seamless collaboration across the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- IT Strategy & Planning: Shape and deliver an IT roadmap that supports Enviromena’s growth, including system upgrades, digital transformation initiatives and long-term technology planning.
- Cybersecurity Oversight: Maintain strong security controls, lead threat monitoring and ensure compliance with standards such as ISO and GDPR.
- User Support & Training: Drive digital literacy across the organisation, providing hands-on support and training to help teams work efficiently and confidently.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Manage external IT partners, conduct audits, negotiate contracts and ensure service levels consistently meet Enviromena’s needs.
- System Administration: Oversee software licensing, user access, backups, patching and system configuration to maintain secure and stable systems.
- Project Delivery: Lead key IT projects, including system implementations, migrations and infrastructure upgrades that support operational growth.
- Policy & Governance: Maintain clear IT policies, procedures and documentation to ensure compliant, consistent and well-governed operations.
- Front Line Support: Provide asset provision and management of employee devices.
- Technology Operations: Ensure the reliable operation of the technology estate by working closely with managed service providers, monitoring performance and maintaining the availability of business systems.
- Service Management & Continuous Improvement: Maintain and support SLA and KPI performance.
- Service Delivery & Efficiency: Drive high levels of service provision and reliability whilst maximising efficiencies and value for money.
- Cybersecurity Governance: Develop and implement a cybersecurity governance strategy, including accreditation roll-out and management.

- Certifications: ITIL, Security+, Microsoft/Azure, CCNA (preferred but not essential).
- Industry experience: several years in IT operations or infrastructure roles.
- Project & change experience: delivering IT improvements and new systems.
