It is the second project we have acquired from Anglo Renewables, following Rock Farm in Shropshire where construction is almost complete.
Hebden Green is fully consented, has secured a Contract for Difference (CfD) in Allocation Round 7 (AR7) and is expected to be energised at the end of 2027. Once energised, it will generate around 17,500MWh of clean electricity each year, enough to power the equivalent of over 6,000 homes annually.
The project, which is to be built on low grade agricultural land (Grade 4), also brings wider ecological benefits and features a community benefit fund to support wider projects in the local area.
We acquired Rock Farm from Anglo Renewables in summer 2025. The construction works at Rock Farm are almost complete ahead of energisation and discussions are underway with the local community regarding the deployment of the community benefit fund.
Lee Adams, Chief Commercial Officer at Enviromena, said: “We highly value the relationship we’ve built with Anglo Renewables through the acquisition and delivery of Rock Farm, and we’re delighted to be continuing that partnership through Hebden Green.
“Hebden Green is a high-quality, well-developed project that further strengthens our construction pipeline for 2027 and supports our continued growth as an owner and operator of solar assets across the UK.
“We look forward to bringing the project into construction and delivering both clean energy and lasting benefits for the local community.”
James Stone, Managing Director at Anglo Renewables, said: “We’re delighted to complete the sale of Hebden Green to Enviromena, building on the success of our partnership on the Rock Farm project.
“We look forward to seeing Hebden Green progress into construction and deliver benefits through the generation of clean, renewable energy.”
Hebden Green joins a growing portfolio of CfD-backed solar projects that we will own and operate in addition to our own self developed sites now in construction.
